enature.com - there is a lot of information regarding wildlife at his site and my favorite feature is the online field guides. I can spend hours surfing here!
University of Tennessee - wonderful site that has great pictures (ask permission to use them in non-profit ventures). I often wind up getting sidetracked when researching at this site!
Green Springs Gardens - a great source for home gardeners in the Northern Virginia area. This garden is listed in "1001 Gardens to See before You Die".
Fine Gardening's Pronunciation Guide - Never let latin names intimidate you again! Make sure your sound is on when visiting this site.
Audubon - everything you wanted to know about our feathered friends!
Master Gardeners of Prince William - This is my local chapter of Master Gardeners. Local folks should check out the calendar for events in Prince William County.

- I love being part of this great club. Our newsletter has won
first prize a couple of years in a row (kudos to Jacki, our president).
Check out our calendar from time to time. We have some
outstanding speakers and usually allow non-members to attend those meetings.
Garden Country - this is by far my favorite on-line gardening community. I have made several lifetime friends here. We met at another site (no longer exsists) and have actually met in real life several times including taking vacations together - this was before we knew how dangerous that could really be.
Thompson & Morgan - I've bought seeds from them on-line several times. Received an empty seed package once and after emailing them received two packages of the seed within a week. Great service!
Pinetree Seeds - Smaller seed packages (less seeds) means cheaper prices which is why I like this site. I don't usually need 200 let alone 2000 seeds of any one plant since my yard is so small.
Amazon - The Walmart of the internet! We've been shopping there for years.
Walmart - I order photos for in store pickup regularly. The couple of times there have been minor problems the in store staff have fixed the problems. I upload the prints after editting them from my computer, often late at night. I've also ordered some mugs with photos (for home delivery) which I was pleased with as well.
D Lawless Hardware - I searched locally for months looking for kitchen hardware I liked. Not only did I find it at this site, they were on sale for a pretty decent price. I actually had two separate orders and service was speedy both times.
Plants Delight - Great plants but also a great informative website. You'll find plants you can't find anywhere else at this site.
Lake Jackson, Virginia - my husband and I webmaster this unofficial website for our community. We are trying to collect more information about the history of Lake Jackson residents.
Patti's Pictures - When I grow up to be a good photographer I'm going to be Patti. She's taught me quite a bit over the years. I particularly love the grandkids with sunflower pics of hers.
Andy's Photo site - get advice from a great group of people while enjoying some really wonderful photos from around the world. I like this site because you don't feel "put down by the experts" here.
Natalie's Stationary - Daughter in law to Patti (above). I bought some wonderful permanent luggage tags from Natalie after traveling with Patti and coveting hers!
Pogo - There was a time that I visited more gaming websites but pretty much this is the only one I visit anymore. I don't chat much usually but do love dressing my "mini"
Get Human - This website lists information explaining how to get in touch with an actual person at various companies and government agencies.
Snopes.com - rumor control at it's best!
Colbert Nation - what can I say? I love Stephen Colbert's humor.
JibJab - Some of the funniest things on the internet! Make sure to join (which is free) so you can see the "vault"
Open Web Design - a lot of my page designs were found at this site. It can be tedious to get through but I think well worth it. I've downloaded a couple of pages I couldn't get to work for me but on the whole the templates work wonderfully!
