Richard and I
travelled to California and made it a point to see the redwoods.
I really can't begin to tell you how big redwoods are when
you're used to trees on the east coast.
You do get a gentle giant kind of feel when you're in the forest.
It is beyond me why anyone would ever harm a single one of
them.
Richard and I hiked the moderate trail which given all the steep
climbing made me wonder how much more difficult it could have been.
It took us a couple of hours to climb up and down avoiding
branches and roots in the pathways. We enjoyed our climb but
truthfully we were also happy to reach the end.
I would definately love to return to Muir Woods.
